Who We Are

Meet Liza Meli

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, with proud Greek roots, Meli has been a beloved figure in Miami’s dining scene since 2003.

Her culinary journey began in North Beach with the much-loved Ouzos Greek Taverna (2002–2013), earning her a loyal following. She continued to charm locals with the vibrant Barmeli Tapas & Wine Bar (2013–2023), a true neighborhood favorite.

Today, Meli welcomes guests to her latest creation—No Reservations (est. May 2023)—a cozy, intimate space that carries forward the spirit of Barmeli in a smaller, more personal setting.

You’ll find her there most evenings, greeting guests with open arms, a warm smile, and always a story to share. Cheers to good food, good wine, and even better company.

This wine bar is a true gem! Meli is the best. I became a regular after just one visit, and every time I feel at home. It’s nearly impossible to find places like this in Miami. The food and wine are second to none!

This place is the epitome of locals only. The owner is there nightly and the wine selections are perfect. There is a happy hour menu Wednesday to Saturday but she's definitely let us order off of it beyond that time. The kitchen closes at 10pm...but that not why we come here. Great company...great wine... Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!! See you there. Cheers 🍷🥂🍷🥂🍷

Un restaurante atendido por su propia dueña, Lisa, lo cual ya hace la diferencia. Es un lugar muy cálido, la comida es muy rica y una buena opción de vinos. No es un lugar bullicioso, ideal para salir del ruido de Miami.

One of my favorite places to hang out. I feel like I am in the TV series called cheers. Where everybody knows my name. Easy to meet people and everyone s super friendly. On top of it everything I have tried was amazingly delicious. The food taste like homemade food. Most of the restaurants in the US are like the same taste and is like who warms up the food better. But this place is no. You can taste the real food. All the wines in the selection are also natural. No added chemicals nor addictive to make the fermentation process faster. You can feel it in every sip.

No Reservations Wine Bar is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, stylish, and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and the staff genuinely knows their menu. And the best part: the tapas are delicious—fresh, well-presented, and packed with flavor.
